SUPPORT GROUPS
Group counseling is a very effective way to address specific concerns in a supportive setting. Three Hart Connection offers a trauma support group for people who are Thrivers to acts of violence.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individualized issues related to domestic violence are addressed in a comfortable therapeutic setting. Individual therapy provides a more private and personal setting in which to process trauma.
ART THERAPY
Therapy through art allows clients to utilize techniques such as drawing, painting, coloring etc. Art therapy is a great way for children, adolescents and adults to explore emotions and relieve stress through a creative outlet.
Our Thrivers in Partnership Program evolved from our Therapy Services Program. The individuals enrolled in TIP successfully completed all requirements from the clinical and coaching component of the Therapy Services Program, administered by our in-house clinician. Participants in the TIP are adult, women of color who survived domestic violence relationships. Thrivers in Partnership is a collaborative function combining our support group and facilitation mentorship program. Using the skills from their clinical oversight and care, the ladies have learned to use their stories to help uplift others and educate the community to advocate for prevention in our community. Using specialties such as Art Therapy, Fitness and mindfulness the TIP participants are able to reach new heights in their own journeys of healing. The team continues to meet weekly for trauma healing support group. Support groups are focused and led by our certified facilitators.
