The Junior Thrivers Program is an 8-week IN PERSON summer internship program created to support Transitionally Aged Youth (ages 16-24) by helping them develop basic career readiness, personal, and professional skills. All interns in the program will participate in our Teen Dating Violence curriculum and walk away with a "Healthy Relationships Toolbox".
Stay tuned for the announcement of our 2026 application.

Inspired by Project CJ, a program focused on providing youth with the resources and educational tools to assist in preventing teen dating violence, our Scholarship Essay Contest allows transitionally aged youth (ages 16-24) the chance to win a scholarship by submitting an essay that demonstrates an understanding of the risks of unhealthy relationships.
In 2025, we received 34 scholarship applications and selected 2 as our scholarship winners. Our first place prize is $2,500 and second place prize is $1,000.
The essay topic for 2025 applicants was: Self-Love, Why Loving Myself is Part of Teen Dating Violence Prevention.

1st Place Winner. Jordan is a senior in high school from South Carolina who dreams of going to college and becoming a teacher.
"I wrote this essay because I believe learning to love yourself is really important. Self-love isn’t just about confidence or appearance, but about knowing your worth, setting boundaries, and protecting your heart. My faith has helped me see myself the way God sees me, and that has shaped how I value myself and the relationships I choose. Through this essay, I hope to remind others that self-love isn’t selfish, it’s necessary, and it can help guide us toward healthier, safer relationships."

2nd Place Winner.
Miracle is a senior at Northwestern University with hopes to work in the data analysis sector within the entertainment industry.
"I thought that life just happened to me, that I was only a passive participant. Writing this essay showed me that I have more power than I realized, and I hope that others, too, recognize the control they hold over their own lives."
